At Klaversgården, we decided to go a step further.
In addition to our daily care for these beautiful animals, we wanted to do something extra to support our activities.
That's why we started our own webshop and a sales stall at home.

At the moment we don't have any big news to report.
Everything goes its own way at Klaversgården.
The foals are doing well and enjoy the space and attention.
We have decided not to have the mares mated this year.
Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to find a suitable stallion to expand our own herd.
That is why we have decided to give the mares a rest year this year after giving birth to their first foal.
In 2025 we will probably take both mares to a stallion owner where they can be mated again.
Unfortunately no foals in 2025.
But starting a hobby business also takes time, especially when it comes to breeding horses.

Today the foals were allowed on land for the first time.
There was running, playing, eating and sleeping!
They loved it.

Two days after our first foal was born, Cookie also thought it was about time.
Cookie has given birth to a very handsome colt!

Here is an update on the mares' pregnancy.
Everything is going well with the mares.
They can go into labor at any moment!
It is very exciting but we are happy that everything is going well.
We take care of our sweet mares as best we can!

Today we added two new residents to our group.
The pregnant mares have to be separated for the upcoming birth, so our other horse came alone.
We didn't want this so we picked up two new friends for her.
Now the mares can quietly prepare for delivery in the paddock (with adjacent stables) next to our house.

Last week we had a blood test done on the 2 mini mares.
The results of this were fantastic!
At the beginning of May, our mares will give birth to hopefully healthy foals!
